NEWS BRIEF: Italian public broadcaster Rai has picked up a new toon from Gama Movie Animation, a fantasy action/adventure series for six- to nine-year-olds that will be debuting at Mipcom next month.
Animation house Gama will be launching Star Key (left, 26×26′) in Cannes, following its production deal with Rai Fiction. Former Rai exec Gabrio Marinelli launched Gama Movie Productions in 1998, expanding into animation last year.
